| Our
mission is the revaluation, the cleaning and the protection of the
seabed in the vicinity of ports, marinas and yacht-clubs.
Marinas are situated on the sea’s edge and do not benefit
from buffer zones which would normally prevent dumping of pollutants
in navigable waters. Different sources of pollution are associated
with ports and marinas and they have dreadful consequences on the
natural environment:
a low
oxygen level due to a reduced and inadequate movement of water
pollutants
discharged by boats
pollutants
brought by rainwater from parking areas in proximity and other impermeable
surfaces
the
physical transformation or destruction of naturally damp areas during
the building of marinas, ramps and annexes
pollution
generated by the cleaning and care of boats whether on the water
or in nearby dry dock
destruction
of the natural seabed habitat
